la ECDL ora si amplia/trasforma in ICDL (International Certification of
Digital Literacy)
sicuramente ci interessa questa formalizzazione dei contenuti della
digital literacy.

all'indirizzo https://www.icdleurope.org/icdl-programmes/ sono descritte
le 4 sezioni di cui mi pare però che i syllabi non siano ancora disponibili.

ICDL Digital Citizen
Digital skills to access, engage, and build computer confidence

Digital Citizen is specially developed to cater for those with no
experience whatsoever of computers and the Internet. Digital Citizen
helps to remove the fear of using a computer for complete novices by
using a simple, non-threatening approach to educating individuals in
the basic skills of using a computer, email and the Internet.

It is a fun, informal and uncomplicated introduction to computers
and the Internet for complete beginners.
It is designed to give an appreciation and basic understanding of
    computers and the Internet.
It is designed to build confidence and provide a basis to encourage
further exploration and development of computer and Internet skills.
It’s never too late to learn…
Digital Citizen is designed for complete beginners and is open to
everyone regardless of status, education, age, ability or
understanding. There are still many people who have never switched
on a computer and are only vaguely aware of the Internet and its
uses. Many of these people would like to know more about computers
and the Internet but may feel that it’s too complicated or that it’s
too late for them to learn. If that sounds like someone you know,
Digital Citizen is the programme for them to overcome their fears
    and get started with computers.

ICDL Digital Student
Digital skills to design and develop, share and protect

ICDL is the world’s leading digital skills certification, which
helps people to develop and certify their skills in using a
computer. Consisting of a number of modules, with the flexibility
for teachers to choose the topics that meet the needs of their
students, ICDL is an ideal way for schools to help develop their
    students’ digital skills.

Schools around the world use ICDL. The programme offers both
flexibility, and a range of levels, along with an up-to-date
offering that is kept to rigorously high standards around the world.
Students can benefit from an internationally recognised
certification that is mapped to a number of qualifications
frameworks and standards, and which integrates with curricula in
    several countries.

To date, over 16,000,000 people have engaged with ICDL, and
thousands of schools, colleges and universities have adopted ICDL to
build and certify their students’ digital skills.

ICDL Professional
Digital skills for occupational effectiveness

Digital technology is continually evolving. ICDL Professional
certifies essential skills for careers in sectors like finance and
management, marketing and communications, and design.

With more technology in professional roles, digital skills are now
an essential pre-requisite for many occupations.

Work at all levels is being transformed by technology. This is
especially true for many highly-skilled professions. In many cases,
this shift will see the creation of new categories of work, and the
closer integration of computers in existing roles.
